Halloween is Saturday. Earlier this month, Gov. Phil Murphy opened the door to trick-or-treaters throughout New Jersey, declaring that local communities can go ahead with their Halloween celebrations.

Here’s a county-by-county overview of how some municipalities are preparing for Halloween weekend.

And here’s the list of communities where trick-or-treating and other Halloween activities are not being allowed in 2020.

ABSECON The town webpage included the following Halloween event guidelines in its Oct. 5 COVID-19 Update: 1. Wear mask over nose and mouth; 2. Treats should be arranged so only the person receiving the treat touches it; 3. Outdoor distribution preferred; and 4. Guidance will be provided for hayrides. The police department Facebook page has posted the state Department of Health Halloween guidelines.

EGG HARBOR BOROUGH The borough has released trick-or-treating guidelines on its website. A “Spooktacular” hosted by the recreation department 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Tony Canale Park. Visit ehtrec.com or call 609‐272‐8120

LINWOOD The city has set 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, as the designated hours for trick-or-treating. However, the police department will not be closing neighborhood streets this year to curtail large gatherings. Chief of Police John Hamilton advised: “If you are a resident that does not wish to participate in Halloween, please utilize the age-old rule of turning off your porch light and not answering your door.”

MULLICA The township will allow trick-or-treating from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. The annual trunk-or-treat, though, has been canceled for 2020.

CLOSTER Mayor John Glidden reported trick-or-treating “will need to be celebrated quite differently this year as we continue our due diligence in the battle with COVID-19.” He referred residents to the state Department of Health guidelines.

DEMAREST The police department “strongly advises against participating in traditional trick-or-treating where children go door to door.” The municipality will not be closing off any streets for Halloween this year, to discourage large groups of trick-or-treaters.

LEONIA The borough recreation department will host “Halloween on Broad” Saturday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to noon. The street will be closed off to traffic from Fort Lee Road to Hillside Avenue. Trunk-and-treat will be offered at the American Legion, ACS and Beechwood parking lots. Face covering is mandatory.

LODI The borough has posted a guideline of Halloween safety tips on its webpage.

MAYWOOD The state Department of Health’s Halloween 2020 Celebration Guidance information sheet has been posted on the municipal website.

ORADELL The borough will not be closing Prospect Avenue for Halloween this year “as we do not want to encourage large gatherings in any one specific area.” It also urges citizens to use the CDC guidelines for holiday safety.

RIVER VALE The township has canceled its annual Halloween Ragamuffin Parade and Celebration.

WOOD-RIDGE The borough has canceled its annual Ragamuffin Parade and W-R PTA trunk-or-treat.

CHESTERFIELD The township “has no intention of preventing anyone from participating in activities associated with the holiday” but suggests “A good way way to hand out treats on Halloween night is to arrange the candy in such a way that it allows for picking one item without touching the others nearby; if a homeowners chooses to greet trick-or-treaters in person, the department of health suggests wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing and washing your hands often; and residents going from house to house should limit groups to their own household members only.”

DELRAN Mayor Ken Paris posts: “With the number of coronavirus cases rising, residents participating in Halloween activities should be very careful. Residents need to look out for the health and safety of children and seniors. Masks should be worn and social distancing measures should be followed. MOUNT HOLLY The township has posted a “2020 Halloween Best Practices” guide sheet for safe trick or treating on its web page.

MOUNT LAUREL The township has set a 9 p.m. curfew for ages 17 and younger not accompanied by adults for Oct. 30 and 31. Trick-or-treating hours on Saturday, Oct. 31, are 3 to 9 p.m.

PALMYRA The annual Halloween parade is canceled but the borough Halloween Committee has established “build a scarecrow” and house-decorating contests.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP Trick or treating takes place between 7 and 9 p.m. on Oct. 31.

COLLINGSWOOD The borough assures “Halloween is not lost in Collingswood!” For parents who are comfortable taking their children trick-or-treating in the neighborhoods, hours will be noon until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. There will be no trick-or-treating in the business district along Haddon Avenue this year. There will be a drive-thru trick-or-treat from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Rite Auditorium parking lot, 315 White Horse Pike.

CHERRY HILL A 7 p.m. curfew on Saturday, Oct. 31, is recommended for kids age 17 and younger not accompanied by an adult. Trick-or-treating hours are 3-7 p.m. The town recommends following the state Department of Health guidelines for safe Halloween celebrations. Cherry Hill Township understands not everyone may feel comfortable with trick-or-treating this year, so the township has designed signs for residents to download and print out. Those who are not interested in participating are asked to place the “Please, No Trick-or-Treaters” sign on windows, doors or other visible areas for trick-or-treaters.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP is holding a Halloween house decorating contest and noted on its Facebook page: “While Gloucester Township is not banning trick-or-treaters going door to door, the township strongly encourages residents to use their best judgment and practice the recommended safety measures like wearing a cloth or surgical masks under Halloween masks and maintaining social distancing while walking the neighborhoods between the hours of 2 and 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.”

HADDON Trick-or-treat hours are noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, with a 10 p.m. curfew enforced for ages 16 and younger on Oct. 30 and 31.

MOUNT EPHRAIM Trick-or-treating hours will be noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. There is a 9 p.m. curfew in effect for Oct. 29-31.

RUNNEMEADE The borough has posted a downloadable “No trick-or-treaters this Halloween, See you next year” sign for “those who are not comfortable participating in Halloween” to print and “place in your window if you will not be giving out candy.”

WATERFORD The municipal website notes “the annual trick-or-treating tradition is not a township event, so families have the freedom to decide whether or not they are comfortable participating(as long as you adhere to the governor’s orders).” It also has a “Sorry, no trick-or-treating this year. Please respect our wishes” poster residents to use if they do not want to participate this year.

WINSLOW The township has designated 1 to 5 p.m. for trick-or-treating on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, and posted an outline of Halloween safety tips online. A “Halloween Scare and Drive-By” is scheduled for 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, with local police and fire department members escorting vehicles full of costumes paraders from United Methodist Church on Sicklerville Road to Villa Deli, where free candy bags will be distributed.

CAPE MAY The city has canceled this year’s Halloween parade.

LOWER TOWNSHIP Trick-or-treating hours on Halloween are set for 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP A Halloween Parade will take place 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, marching from Memorial Field north on Route 9 to OceanFirst Bank. There will be no performances or judging this year. All candy must be bagged separately and children must pick it up themselves. For information call 609-465-8728.

NORTH WILDWOOD was planning a Trunk-or-Treat Halloween Block Party along Olde NJ Avenue between Second and Walnut avenues, with event time to be announced. For information call 609-522-2955 or visit northwildwood.com.

OCEAN CITY The municipality is holding its annual Halloween house decorating contest, has posted the state Department of Health’s guidance on safe trick-or-treating and advises residents to “check back” to its website for information on other Halloween events.

STONE HARBOR Business district trick-or-treating is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Trick-or-treating on 7 Mile Island will be 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Stone Harbor and Avalon residents had until Oct. 26 to register for their homes to be included on a designated trick-or-treating route. Those registered with receive a wooden pumpkin to place at their door or on their lawn so children know participating. Rout maps for the trick-or-treaters will be available outside the 82nd Street recreation building after noon on Oct. 30.

WEST CAPE MAY Designated trick-or-treating hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

WEST WILDWOOD Designated trick-or-treating hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

WILDWOOD The Downtown Wildwood Halloween movie and treats scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30, has been canceled.

WILDWOOD CREST Designated trick-or-treating hours are 5 to 7 pm. Saturday, Oct. 31. The borough issued safety guidance measures on its website.

BRIDGETON Designated trick-or-treating hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

FAIRFIELD Designated trick-or-treating hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

GREENWICH Trick-or-treat hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, following COVID-19 safety precautions. Residents are urged to set up decorated outdoor tables with individual bags of candy, yard displays with treats or neighborhood trunk-or-treats.

MAURICE RIVER Designated trick-or-treating hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

MILLVILLE Designated trick-or-treating hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Residents should signal whether they want to participate by turning their outside lights on or off.

UPPER DEERFIELD Designated trick-or-treating hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

VINELAND The city will hold traditional Halloween trick-or-treat hours 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, and has posted some tips on the city Facebook page for homeowners who “may want to try creative ways of distributing treats.” The Ave Downtown Vineland will hold its annual Pumpkin Patch Party and Scarecrow contest on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

BLOOMFIELD Declaring “Have You Heard? Halloween is still on,” the township posted a poster outlining “tips to keep yourself and kids safe this Halloween” on the town’s Facebook page.

CEDAR GROVE The Town Council will host drive-thru trick or treating at the town hall parking lot on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. Entrance will be from Cedar Street, Bowden Road or Pompton Avenue, with the firehouse entrance designated as the exit. Children wearing costumes will be given candy and a craft from the library.

FAIRFIELD The township has canceled its annual Trunk or Treat, but the Fairfield Municipal Alliance sold lawn signs for residents to place on their lawns if they plan on distributing candy to “show trick or treater’s that they are welcome and are coming into a safe environment.

GLEN RIDGE Traditional trick-or-treating where treats are handed to children who go door to door will not be allowed from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1.

MILLBURN The Millburn Fire Department has canceled its annual Fire Truck or Treat this year “in the hopes of keeping our community safe, healthy and socially distant.” The state Department of Health’s Halloween 2020 Celebration Guidance information sheet has been posted on the township’s website.

ROSELAND Residents participating in Halloween who want trick-or-treaters must display a sign on their front door or window. Signs are available online.

VERONA A Pumpkin Fest will be held outside the Verona Civic Center on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., sponsored by the township, Verona Public Library, Verona Junior Women’s Club, Verona Arts and Hillcrest Farms & Hearth Realty.

WEST ORANGE A socially distanced Trunk or Treat will take place at the West Orange Farmers Market, 80 Main St., on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with prize for best decorated vehicle, candy giveaway. Costumes encourages; masks required.

DEPTFORD Trick-or-treating hours are 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Residents who do not want to participate should “turn off their front lights, close the front door or post a sign that directs people away from their house.” Mischief night curfew is 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.

FRANKLIN Trick-or-treat hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. The township has posted the state Department of Health Halloween guidelines on its website.

MANTUA The township plans to celebrate Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 31, in accordance to New Jersey State Guidelines as it relates to the current COVID-19 circumstances. Township officials were expected to announce trick-or-treating hours will be 3-8 p.m.

NATIONAL PARK Trick or treating takes place between 4 and 8 p.m. on Oct. 31.

WASHINGTON Trick-or-treat hours will be 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. the township has posted a downloadable graphic for residents looking to opt out of the Halloween trick-or-treating. The sign can be put on the front door to “let trick-or-treaters know that you won’t be participating this year in a no-contact way.”

WENONAH Trick-or-treat hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Residents who “would prefer not to have trick-or-treaters at your home this year because of COVID-19” are urged to put signs on their front door to indicate such.

WEST DEPTFORD Trick-or-treating will be permitted on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, until 8 p.m. There is an 8 p.m. curfew for ages 17 and younger on Friday, Oct. 30.

WESTVILLE Trick-or-treat hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. “Please keep your door open, front light on or any other creative way you see fit to signify you are handing out treats; If you choose not to participate that’s fine, too. We ask all trick-or-treaters to respect your decision.”

WOOLWICH Mayor Vernon R. Marino noted “Halloween 2020 celebration is on . . .” and referred residents to the state Department of Health safety guidelines.

BAYONNE The city has canceled its annual Halloween parade but will have a Halloween costume contest for local children ages 2-14 at 16th Street Park 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

KEARNY Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency and concerns with the safety of residents in large gatherings, the 2020 Halloween Parade has been canceled.

NORTH BERGEN There will be no Halloween parade this year but a “Halloween Giveaway” for children is listed to take place 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the recreation center parking lot, 6300 Meadowland Ave.

SECAUCUS The town has posted a video on Halloween guidelines for 2020.

BLOOMSBURY The township calendar notes trick-or-treating will be allowed from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

CALIFON From the website: Trick or treating in Califon is up to the discretion of the residents. The CDC and Department of Health do not recommend door-to-door trick or treating this year due to the current pandemic. Califon officials are leaving participation at the discretion of homeowners and parents. If a homeowner is not comfortable in participating, please keep your porch light off and you can place a sign out front if you choose. The borough has a 9 p.m. Halloween curfew from Oct. 23 to Oct. 31.

CLINTON The town has designated 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, as Halloween trick-or-treating time for young residents, with a reminder to “be mindful of social distancing requirements.”

DELAWARE TOWNSHIP Declaring “We can’t gather in large groups but that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fall fun,” the township Recreation Commission has “reimagined” Halloween with a pumpkin carving contest. Local residents can enter by emailing deltwprec@gmail.com. Pumpkins are to be dropped off at Dilts Park Pavilion between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 and residents are invited to visit and cast votes between 10 a.m. and noon. Winners in various categories will be announced at 12:30 p.m.

FLEMINGTON The borough Police and OEM conducted an online “do you plan to participate in trick-or-treating this year?” survey on its Facebook page in “trying to figure out how to make Halloween a success in this very unique year.” It is distributing free “We Have Candy” signs for residents who want to participate in trick-or-treating and trick-or-treat hours have been extended to 3-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, to “help encourage social distancing.”

HOLLAND The township has designated 5:30 to 8 p.m. for trick-or-treating on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31. It will enforce a temporary 8 p.m. curfew for ages 17 and younger from Oct. 16 to Nov. 2.

LEBANON BOROUGH The borough will sponsor a Halloween house-decorating contest from Oct. 29-30, with winners announced on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31. There also is a Halloween Scavenger Hunt, with five items hidden at outdoor locations visible from sidewalks. For information, call 908-236-2425.

LAMBERTVILLE The police department on Sept. 11 posted an announcement “advising against public participation in door-to-door trick-or-treating and Halloween gatherings” and said it would not be closing roads this year to accommodate masses of trick-or-treaters.

RARITAN TOWNSHIP Halloween will be observed in the township on Oct. 31 pursuant to state guidelines. A 9 p.m. curfew is suggested.

UNION TOWNSHIP Trick-or-treating will be allowed from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. There will be a juvenile curfew enforced Friday and Saturday, Oct. 30-31, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

HIGHTSTOWN The borough has posted the state Department of Health Halloween celebration guidance notice on its website.

HOPEWELL BOROUGH, HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP and PENNINGTON The three Hopewell Valley municipalities have decided not to restrict trick-or-treating entirely, but ask the community to follow guidelines to ensure that all remain safe and protected. These include placing bowls or treat bags on front steps, driveway or sidewalk rather than handing treats directly to children; limiting group sizes; maintaining proper distancing; and wearing appropriate face covering. PRINCETON The Arts Council of Princeton’s annual Hometown Halloween Parade is not scheduled this year.

NEW BRUNSWICK Halloween is a go in the city, but residents are reminded to follow the state-issued safety guidelines. The city has posted a short video with some safety tips on its Facebook page. The city also will host a Halloween event 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at city hall with candy distribution and family activities.

OLD BRIDGE Trick-or-treating will be allowed on Saturday, Oct. 31. The township is hosting a pumpkin-carving contest and drive-thru display. Pumpkins can be dropped off Oct. 29 and the drive-thru will be held on Friday, Oct. 30.

SPOTSWOOD There will be a drive-thru “Haunted Halloween” display at Spotswood High School on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. Enter via North Street past Memorial School to front of high school.

ALLENTOWN The Allentown Business Community Association has set “Witches Night Out 2020” for 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29. This is a paid admission event.

ASBURY PARK The city has scheduled a Halloween drive-thru event outdoors at city hall on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 1 to 3 p.m. For information call Leesha Floyd at 732-502-5759.

The Paranormal Museum, House of Independents, Parlor Gallery and The Asbury Park Business Committee will hold a Jack O’lantern Festival at Kennedy Park from 7-9 pm. on Friday, Oct. 30. BRADLEY BEACH The Bradley Beach Fire Department’s Halloween Parade is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, marching from the firehouse to Riley Park.

FAIR HAVEN The borough plans to observe Halloween following CDC guidelines.

FARMINGDALE Trick-or-treat hours are set for 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Houses should designate whether they are giving out candy by use of signage and/or outdoor lighting.

FREEHOLD The township declared it will not place any restrictions on Halloween activities, noting “Halloween may proceed normally, keeping in mind that personal safety relating to the pandemic should be practiced wherever possible. The Township Committee believes that parents are surely able to decide which Halloween activities are best suited for their children.”

LONG BRANCH The state Department of Health guidelines for safe trick-or-treating are posted on the city’s web page.

MANALAPAN Manalapan Township will have neighborhood trick or treating on Halloween, Oct. 31. The township is hosting two drive in movies: Oct. 28 (Hotel Transylvania 3) and Oct. 29 (Poltergeist). Register online. Signs are available online and on the township’s Facebook page to be printed out and placed on the doors of those homes participating in trick or treating this year. These signs will also be available in the front entrance of Town Hall.

LINCOLN PARK The borough recreation department will host a trunk-or-treat in lieu of the annual Halloween parade and party on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lincoln Park Community Lake. It’s for local residents only and advance registration is required online. Rain date is Nov. 1.

MORRIS PLAINS The annual Halloween parade is canceled but the Morris Plains Fire Association and recreation department will host trick-or-treating at Morris Plains Firehouse 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. A “modified” community bonfire is scheduled for 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Community Park, with DJ, take-home pumpkins to decorate and glow sticks. Rain date is Oct. 25. MORRISTOWN The Halloween parade is canceled. The recreation department plans a trunk-or-treat for local residents on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the parking lot behind town hall. ROCKAWAY The township will not be holding typical events for Halloween, but shared the state Department of Health guidelines on its website.

BAY HEAD Trick-or-treating will be permitted to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, and the borough has posted a printable sign on its website that residents can hang on their door to welcome trick-or-treaters. Those who do not want trick or treaters at their home are asked to keep their house dark from the outside.

BEACHWOOD Trick-or-treating hours will be 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. There is a 9 p.m. curfew in effect for Oct. 30 and 31.

HAWTHORNE In a recent letter to the community, Mayor Richard S. Goldberg noted “We are planning on how to hold this year’s Halloween Parade so as not to cancel yet another event. We have no intention of canceling trick-or-treating since most, if not all, will be wearing masks.”

LITTLE FALLS There is a “honk-or-treat” planned at the library, 8 Warren St., from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, with a curbside distribution of treats.

TOTOWA The recreation board and Municipal Drug Alliance will hold their second annual trunk-or-treat for local residents 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, in the parking lot behind Washington School Park. Advance registration was required by Oct. 16.

WEST MILFORD The township is hosting a “Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat” Friday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the West Milford Recreation Center, 66 Cahill Cross Road. Families might want to do ‘one-way trick-or-treating’ — where individually wrapped goodie bags are lined up for children to grab and go while social distancing from other families.” Residents can leave goodies at the end of their driveway or edge of their yard and wave to the children from their porch. Trick-or-treaters should not knock on doors. Check out the CDC’s guidance for “moderate risk” activities.

NEWTON Town Manager Thomas S. Russo Jr. reported on Sept. 25 that “Halloween events are still going forth as planned, including trick or treating, parade and costume contest. We have also added a house-decorating contest and Jack-o-Lantern decorating contest to our endeavors.”

VERNON The township’s annual trunk-or-treat has been modified to a “Halloween trick-or-trail,” where participants will register for a time slot to walk around the playground area at Maple Grange Park to view decorated tables and collect Halloween treats. Walks are scheduled for 4, 5 and 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31. Families must sign up in advance through the Vernon PAL online registration system.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS The township website announces “Halloween is on in Berkeley Heights!” but emphasizes “importance of making sure both kids and adults practice safe COVID protocols.” Trick or treating hours will be 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. The Berkeley Heights PBA 144 will sponsor a Trunk or Treat starting at noon on Saturday, Oct. 24, in the parking lot at 100 Connell Drive adjacent to the grove.

GARWOOD The borough has shared the state Department of Health Halloween 2020 Celebration Guidance release on its website.

LINDEN The parks and recreation department will host Halloween events at the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, 400 N. Wood Ave.: A Family Night on Friday, Oct. 30 at 5:30 p.m., with magic and screening of “Monster House” with distribution of movie treat bags. Registration is required for both events. On Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, the city will present a “Marathon of Past Linden Halloween Parades” on Linden TV Channel 36/42 starting at 8 a.m.

MOUNTAINSIDE The Union County Great Pumpkin Sail is scheduled for Nov. 1 and 2 at Echo Lake Park with four 45-minute sessions starting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $12-$16 per family. NEW PROVIDENCE Trick or treating will be permitted in the borough from 4:30 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. Residents are advised to place a table at the end of their driveway or walkway with treats placed in individual bags. Trick or treaters are instructed have family members only in their groups.

PLAINFIELD Mayor Adrian Mapp in an executive order said “trunk or treating” and other traditional activities associated with the Oct. 31 holiday have been scrapped.

RAHWAY The city’s Halloween Parade and Monster Mash are canceled, but local residents are invited to stop by outside the Rahway Recreation Center on Saturday, Oct. 31, from noon to 3 p.m. to pick up a bag of treats and take a selfie to enter into a virtual costume contest at halloween@cityofrahway.com. Registration is required at cityofrahway.org/halloween. The city’s Halloween Bash for individuals with disabilities and special needs has been postponed to 2021.

ROSELLE The borough will host its first Octoberfest and Halloween on Chestnut Street Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., with a costume parade for all ages, a Zombie/Thriller dance by the Legends dance team and trunk-or-treating in the borough parking lot. HARMONY Trick-or-treating hours are designated for 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, “at your own discretion.” The township has posted health safety guidelines on its website.

HOPE The township web page reported on Oct. 8: “We are moving forward with our annual Halloween Celebrations on Saturday, Oct. 31.”

LIBERTY Trick-or-treating hours are designated for 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

PHILLIPSBURG The annual Easton-Phillipsburg Halloween parade is canceled.

WASHINGTON The township has designated 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, for trick-or-treating with a suggested curfew for ages 17 and younger of 9 p.m. from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1.
