Work Party at the Union Community Garden: May 12

UNION, NJ – The Union Community Garden will hold their May work party on Saturday, May 12, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

According to their website, work parties are part work, part social event.  All are welcome to attend. The Community Garden is located at Eleanor R. Erikson Park, off Liberty Avenue.  The entrance is directly across from Bancroft Ave.

Participants should bring a snack to share.  Bottled water will be provided.  There are garden gloves to loan out, but participants can bring their own. Sunblock is also recommended. 

Parking is limited.  Please park on the side streets and walk in unless you are bringing heavy supplies or you have mobility issues.  If it rains the day before the event, it is highly recommend you park on the side streets if at all possible. The driveway into the garden gets very muddy.
