Where to see Fourth of July 2018 fireworks in NJ: A statewide guide

Allendale features field events at Recreation Park starting at 8:30 a.m. on July 4. The band concert and fireworks are at Crestwood Lake at 7:30 p.m. and open only to residents and their guests. The rain date is July 7.

State Fair Meadowlands has fireworks both July 3 and 4. Admission is $12 with parking for $5. Entrance starts at 2 p.m. and the fair remains open until 1 a.m.

Fair Lawn’s fireworks are on June 28 at Memorial Park at Berdan Avenue and First Street. Gates open at 6:45 p.m. featuring food and drink vendors and a concert by The Kootz at 7 p.m. The rain date is July 5.

Hackensack’s fireworks are at Foschini Park. The Time Machine Band will perform at 7:15 p.m. and Fireworks at 9:15.

Glen Rock hosts a concert on July 3, as well as a parade on July 4.

Leonia hosts an annual Fourth of July Carnival and Fireworks Show at Leonia Overpeck Park from June 29 through July 9 with fireworks on July 4. 

Maywood’s fireworks display is July 2 at 6:30 p.m.

Oradell hosts a parade at 9 a.m. starting on Oradell Avenue at Third Street. The parade ends at Memorial Field with entertainment including pony rides for children and hot dogs and drinks for sale by Boy Scout Troop 36.

The Paramus 4th of July Celebration includes a parade at 9 a.m. on July 4 starting at the intersection of Century Road and Farview Avenue. The fireworks show is at 6 p.m. on July 1 at Cliff Gennarelli Sports-Complex.

Ridgewood’s 4th of July Celebration has a theme – “Rockin’ Ridgewood: Celebrating All-American Music.” The event begins with a flag raising at 9 a.m. in Wilsey Square followed by a rain or shine parade at 10 a.m. Gates for the evening events open at 6 p.m. and close at 9 p.m at Veterans Field. Entertainment includes The Stilettos, Take 4, The Dad’s Night Band, and a Fireworks Extravaganza. The rain date is July 5.

Rutherford’s Annual Baby Parade starts at 10 a.m. in Lincoln Park. Rutherford residents five and under are eligible to enter with six winners receiving checks from Lightbridge Academy to purchase a savings bond.

Teaneck’s community celebration will be held from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. in Richard Rodda Community Center parking lot.

Tenafly’s Town Wide Independence Day Celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 1 at the Roosevelt Common. The Waldwick Band will play at 8 p.m. and fireworks will be at approximately 9 p.m. behind Tenafly High School. The rain date for the fireworks is July 6 while the rain date for the celebration is July 7. 

Saddle Brook will have its annual fireworks on July 3 at 9:30 p.m. at the Otto C. Pehle area of the Saddle River County Park.
