Verizon Truck Catches Fire on Bloomfield Ave Near ALDI – TAPinto.net

BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bloomfield Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 263 Bloomfield Ave. Wednesday afternoon.

The truck, a Verizon vehicle with a cherry-picker, was traveling north on Bloomfield just north of Watsessing Ave in the vicinity of ALDI and Chipotle. 

When firefighters arrived the front end of the truck was full engulfed in flames, Quick action by the BFD brought the fire under control. 

There are no reports of injuries.
