Two NJ residents ran massive drug operation in Ocean, Monmouth – wobm.com
There are two more drug dealers behind bars in New Jersey following a multi-agency investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics across Burlington, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced that Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Narcotics Strike Force along with the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas-Monmouth/Ocean Post of Duty Group 5, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office Gang, Gun and Narcotics Task Force, Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics and Criminal Enterprise Investigative Section, New Jersey State Police – Trafficking Central Unit, New Jersey State Police Hamilton Station, New Jersey State Police T.E.A.M.S. Unit, Manchester Township Police Department Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET), Berkeley Township Police Department Detective Bureau, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, and Bordentown City Police Department, teamed up to look into who was distributing methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin/fentanyl in the area.
As a result of the investigation, law enforcement identified a house in Bordentown and one in Cream Ridge being occupied by Sanine Brosseau, 44, and being used by Shaun Crawford, 36, of Trenton to store and then later deal these specific drugs in our communities.
Detectives then set up a sting comprised of stationary and mobile surveillance at both homes on July 27 and watched as Crawford left the Cream Ridge home in a motor vehicle.
He ended up in Manchester Township where he was arrested and detained and Brosseau later was as well, but from the Cream Ridge residence.
When Detectives searched the Bordentown and Cream Ridge residences, they seized a combined approximately nine ounces of methamphetamine, 6,550 wax folds of heroin, six ounces of cocaine and crack cocaine, two handguns, and $3,000 in United States Currency.
When processed, Crawford was charged with Maintaining or Operating a Controlled Dangerous Substance Facility, Distribution of more than Five Ounces of Methamphetamine, Possession of more than Five Ounces of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, two counts of Possession of more than Five Ounces of Heroin/Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute, Possession of more than Five Ounces of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Heroin/Fentanyl, Certain Person Not to Have a Weapon, two counts of Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Controlled Dangerous Substance Offense, Possession of Hollow Point Bullets, and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon or Device – specifically a High Capacity Magazine.
Crawford remains in a cell in the Ocean County Jail, pending a detention hearing.
Brosseau is being charged with Possession of less than One-Half Ounce of Heroin/Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute, Possession of more than One-Half Ounce but less than Five Ounces of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Heroin/Fentanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Ecstasy, Possession of Methadone, Possession of Dextroamphetamine-Amphetamine, Conspiracy to Possess Five Ounces or more of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Conspiracy to Possess Five Ounces or more of Heroin/Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Brosseau was brought to the Ocean County Jail but was later released because of New Jersey’s Bail Reform Law.
