Triple Shooting In Essex County; 30-Year-Old Victim Dies: Police – West Orange, NJ Patch
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A triple shooting in Orange claimed the life of a 30-year-old victim and hospitalized two others on Wednesday night, Essex County prosecutors said.
The shooting took place at 8:27 p.m. on the 200-block of Oakwood Place in Orange, according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Orange Police Department.
Authorities said a group of men were gathered in the area when someone started shooting at them, hitting three people. Emergency responders transported the victims to University Hospital in Newark, where Rahjah Robinson, 30, of Orange, was pronounced dead at 9:10 p.m.
No additional information was immediately available.
No arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon, prosecutors said.
