Is Tripple Beanz dead? Fans have paid their respects to Tripple Beanz after the confirmed death of the rapper.

Newark resident and local rap artist Tripple Beanz was shot dead at the age of 29 on Friday, November 27th, CBS New York reported.

DFG Recording Studio, who represented Tripple Beanz, has confirmed the rapper’s death in a heartbreaking Instagram post.

Fans and those who knew him have also paid emotional tributes on social media and shared fond memories of the late rapper.

Tripple Beanz, whose real name is Corey Thompson, was shot dead last week in Newark, New Jersey, CBS New York wrote.

The publication reported that the rapper was killed in a shooting on Friday (November 27th) on Avon Avenue.

Tripple Beanz was apparently getting into his black Range Rover when two men allegedly fired multiple rounds and fled the scene.

Newark police are currently investigating the case, but there are no further details about the shooting at the time of writing, CBS New York added.

In a Twitter post, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the death of Tripple Beanz, and wrote that the rapper “was fatally shot on the 300 block of Avon Avenue” and “pronounced dead at the scene”.

Who was Tripple Beanz?

Tripple Beanz was a 29-year-old rap artist from Newark. He was represented by the recording studio DFG Recording Studio which also represents artists such as Fetty Wap, Fatboy, Blac Youngsta, and more.

On his Spotify account, Tripple Beanz’ bio says that his tracks feature collabs with “long time friend” Fetty Wap. He’s also worked with Gun Play on multiple projects.

The rapper’s most recent single, ‘Dumb S**t’, has been featured on several radio stations and streamed on Spotify over 6,000 times.

Tripple Beanz has nearly 15k followers on Instagram.

Fans and friends pay tributes to Tripple Beanz

Many friends and fans of Tripple Beanz have paid heartbreaking tributes to the late rapper.

Fellow rap artist Raykatanna wrote on Instagram:

“The fact we just had this conversation & we both were on the same mission to take our talents across the world saddens me deeply knowing you aren’t here anymore. We just recently met but man I knew you were going to be great I just knew it.

“JERSEY WE HAVE TO DO BETTER ! NO MORE CRABS IN A BARREL MAN. My condolences to @tripplebeanz & his family my prayers & thoughts are with you guys.”

In an emotional tribute, DFG Recording Studio wrote:

“So lost for words…Our hearts are hurting bad here at DFG. Beanz man. A superstar in the making and more importantly family here. Genuinely was tryna change his life around. This was a man who WORKED and had SO MUCH TALENT. This whole thing is so f***ed.

“Tripple Beanz, we love you man and your legacy will forever live on through us and your music.”
