Town-wide Garage Sale

MONTVILLE, NJ – The Montville Township Women’s Club and the Township of Montville will be sponsoring the 18th annual town-wide garage sale. The garage sale is being held on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – rain or shine – at various locations and homes throughout the community.
To host a garage sale, obtain an application form here or at the Montville Municipal Building, Montville Township Public Library or Montville Public Safety Building.
Applications must be received no later than May 12. The cost to participate in this event is $20, which entitles the participant to the following:
- garage sale permit
- listing and placement of garage sale location on a map of Montville Township
- copy of the town map
- advertisement of sale by the Montville Township Women’s Club
We have an alternate location for people living in condominiums who aren’t allowed to have a garage sale. Multi-family garage sales are accommodated as long as each family participating completes an application form and pays the $20 fee.
