The Wellmont Theater Celebrates 10 Years with Free House Party, Oct. 27

MONTCLAIR, NJ – Ten years ago, Montclair’s Wellmont Theater reopened as a live entertainment venue, and to celebrate, will host an anniversary “OkTENberfest” open house party on Saturday, October 27, from 1:00-6:00 p.m. To further commemorate this milestone, The Wellmont is releasing a portion of tickets for each of its remaining 2018 shows for just $10.
OkTENberfest guests will enjoy food vendors, spirits tasting, a selection of more than 40 beers and brews, a photo booth provided by Little Nest Portraits, debut of new Wellmont merchandise, and the opportunity to see the historic venue up close with guided tours.
The Wellmont encourages attendees to bring a non-perishable food donation to benefit the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair. With each bag of five items donated, patrons will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Wellmont show. Donations of more than 20 items will enter guests into a raffle for two tickets to a show of choice.
“The goal since The Wellmont reopened has been to provide quality programming that will attract all audiences,” said Anthony J. Morrison, General Manager of The Wellmont Theater. “By hosting a free open house party and offering $10 tickets to our entire fall lineup, we want to celebrate the people who have been with us on this journey and encourage others to see our well-rounded calendar. There really is something for everyone.”
The following entertainers performing at the Wellmont through the end of 2018 are participating in the $10 ticket promotion:
Beginning Monday, October 1 at 10:00 AM, tickets will be available while supplies last through December 31 on Ticketmaster.com using the offer code “10YEARS” or by mentioning the promotion at the Wellmont Theater box office.
