The Cherry blossom bloom is on.
And you can see them in Branch Brook Park, where more than 5,000 Japanese cherry blossom trees have their bloom working for the ongoing 2019 Essex County Cherry Blossom Festival.
Branch Brook Park is in Newark and Bellevile in Essex County.

The blossoms blooming in Branch Brook is a larger display than the well-know rows of trees in Washington D.C.
The New Jersey festival ran from April 4 to Sunday, April 14, culminating with Bloomfest at the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center in the park.
Bloomfest consistent of a variety of music, dance and demonstrations of drawings and how to wear a Kimono among other activities., as well as children’s activities and food for sale.
Even the daffodils and other flowers contribute to the color palette.
Young and old both climbed the older larger trees to have their picture taken and people waited in line for the best photo opportunities.
The park now includes 17 species of cherry blossoms which vary in shades of pinkish-white to light red.
There’s no charge to enter the park.
