Stop & Shop has donated $10,000 worth of hand sanitizer to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
Community FoodBank of New Jersey, President & CEO, Carlos Rodriguez says, “We are most grateful to Stop & Shop for providing this vital health product to the at-risk residents of New Jersey and Union County. Hand hygiene is the cornerstone of infection control and reduces rates of infections. Sanitizer distribution programs like this improve hand hygiene, which in turn reduces the chances to contract COVID-19.”
“Stop & Shop is pleased to be able to assist The Community FoodBank of New Jersey in supplying hand sanitizer to New Jersey residents who otherwise might not be able to obtain a product that helps to reduce the spread of COVID-19,” said Stop &Shop External Communications Manager, Stefanie Shuman.
