State PBA Endorses DeCroce – My veronanj
Assemblywoman BettyLou DeCroce has been endorsed by the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association (NJPBA) in her re-election to the 26th state Assembly district covering Morris, Essex and Passaic counties. Verona is part of the 26th legislative district.
“I will always be there for our law enforcement officers because they have always been there for my constituents, my family and my neighbors whenever we needed help. It is a great honor to have their endorsement for re-election to the state Assembly,” said Assemblywoman DeCroce.
“I have a strong appreciation for what our officers do for all of us each day. They leave their families, their spouses and children to protect and serve our communities, knowing they have the potential of walking into a dangerous and even life-threatening situation at any moment. For that, alone, they deserve our deepest respect and our strong support,” she added.
The NJPBA announced its endorsement in a press release earlier this week that included the organization’s choices for other candidates for New Jersey’s legislature this fall. The NJPBA also sent a personal letter to the Assemblywoman regarding the endorsement.

“The New Jersey State PBA is pleased to endorse your candidacy for General Assembly and we look forward to continuing to develop our successful relationship in the future,” wrote NJPBA President Pat Colligan. “Your support of our efforts to protect the men and women of law enforcement, on the job and in their retirements, during this legislative session is greatly appreciated.”
