South Orange and Maplewood Election Results 2019 – TAPinto.net

The following results are unofficial until certified by the Essex County Clerk. 

Maplewood Township Committee

Township Committee member Frank McGehee ran unopposed and has been reelected to his seat with more than 98 percent of the vote.

McGehee said to TAPinto SOMA: “I want to thank the voters of Maplewood for their support, my team for all their efforts from canvassing to getting out the vote, and finally my family and friends for their unwavering support and dedication. I look forward to continuing to serve Maplewood in the years to come.”

South Orange Maplewood Board of Education

With 25 of the 33 Districts reporting, Johanna Wright is projected to be reelected and Erin Siders and Thair Joshua have won seats on the board. The latter two ran together as a team. The percentages of the votes came in fairly consistantly as each district was counted.
