Somerset County Food Drive Resumes Jan. 17 – TAPinto.net

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ – “Buy One, Bring One” food collection for county residents in need resumes Friday, Jan. 17.

BOBO Fridays occur every third Friday of the month, but anyone can donate at any time at the locations listed below. Canned or boxed food items are accepted. For examples of healthy foods to donate, visit http://bit.ly/DonateHealthy.

Since its inception in 2010, the BOBO Fridays program has collected more than 52 tons of donations, which has helped to ensure that food bank supplies can keep up with ongoing and significant demand. More than 20,000 Somerset County residents are food-insecure according to the New Jersey Department of Health.
