LIVINGSTON, NJ — Sydney Rednik drove in three runs and Columbia rolled to a 12-1 softball victory over Newark Academy on Wednesday.

Cara Harrington went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Sydney Waldon was 3-for-4 with four runs scored for the Cougars (5-3), who scored three runs in the first inning and three more in the third for a 6-0 lead.

Rednik had two hits and scored a run, Julia Erickson went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI and Claire Salinardo was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI. Winning pitcher Ellie Mischel threw a four-hitter with four strikeouts for Columbia.
