The rally is open for anyone to attend. Christina Jaquez, President of Circles for Healing said, “In my travels and research in Africa I have learned that elevation within a village comes from the collaborative works of those within a village.” She added, “Therefore if we desire to put an end to systemic racism in America, we must not wait for help. Help is not coming from the outside – in, sustainable change is only going to come from the inside – out.”
Ms. Jaquez added, Women must come together to use collective voices to support one another, build programs and businesses and promote other important things, like voting. She said, “Now is the time for togetherness.” She said the goal of the rally is to encourage people become active and get involved in solving community problems by identifying solutions.”
