Secaucus Police Blotter, Feb. 21 – Feb. 27 – Patch
SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week’s arrests:
On Feb. 20 at 11:43 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33-year-old male of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Haledon, NJ in the amount of $500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $500. Both the Haledon and Paterson released him on his own recognizance pending future court dates. He was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Feb. 21 at 8:23 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male of Roselle, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $1,500 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Madison, NJ in the amount of $350 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrants. He was issued four motor vehicle summonses and officers from the East Orange Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of him for transport to their authority
On Feb. 21, in an ongoing effort to reduce vice-related crimes within the town of Secaucus, the Secaucus Police Department Anti-Crime Unit arrested the following individuals; At 8:09 p.m., the Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old female, Vanessa Garrido of Union City, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. Garrido was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 9:49 p.m., Secaucus Police arrested a 39-year-old female, Zulay Guerrero of Jamaica, NY for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. Guerrero was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 11:48 PM, the Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old female, Rosmery Perdomoarmas of Elizabeth, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] along with a 29-year-old male, Decnis Cambonmiranda of Union City, NJ for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. Both Ms. Perdomoarmas and Mr. Cambonmiranda were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.
On Feb. 22 at 12:43 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay America Hotel located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of threats made to an individual. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old male, David Hernandez of the Bronx, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wall, NJ in the amount of $1,000 along with 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of West Chester, PA for full extradition. Hernandez was also charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. He was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Feb. 24 at 5:46 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. While investigating the incident, police stopped an individual in the area of 101 Paterson Plank Road that fit the description of the actor involved in the shoplifting incident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31-year-old male, Jack Sarin of Jersey City, NJ for Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)]. During the investigation it was also found that Sarin was not the individual involved in the shoplifting incident. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Feb. 24 at 10:30 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old male, Angel Ramos of the Bronx, NY along with a 27-year-old female, Ninochka Orta of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)]. Orta was also found to have one outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Orange County, Florida with full extradition. Orta was additionally charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Ramos was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Orta was issued her complaint summons and complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Feb. 25 at 4:45 a.m., Secaucus Police received information that an individual staying at the Rodeway Inn on Rt. 3 East had several outstanding warrants out for his arrest. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41-year-old male, Christopher McNeill of East Brunswick, NJ for 2 outstanding NCIC warrants issued out of the Essex County Sheriff’s Office. At 4:45 a.m. on the same date, the police arrested McNeill at his place of employment located at Adore Me at 100 Electric Avenue. Mr. McNeill was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Ecstasy [2C:35-10A(1)]. He was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Feb. 26 at 3:30 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23-year-old male of Irvington, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Parsippany, NJ in the amount of $2,500 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued five motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Feb. 27 at 1:00 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Paterson Police Department to take into custody a 26-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $500.00. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
