Police: Montclair Man Walks to Mountainside Medical Center After Being Shot in the Nose

MONTCLAIR, NJ – A 31-year-old Montclair man walked to Mountainside Medical Center after getting shot in the nose on Saturday.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to Pine Street at the Glenridge Avenue intersection on a report of shots fired, police say. Arriving officers noted that the victim had already left the scene and walked himself into Mountainside Hospital with a gunshot injury to the nose.
Lt. David O’Dowd of the Montclair Police Department stated, “He is listed in stable condition.”
This incident is currently under investigation.
