Parents Of John Ozbilgen, Man Accused Of Killing Stephanie Parze: ‘We Believe He Is Innocent’ – New Jersey News Network

In a 9-1-1 call the night of Stephanie’s disappearance, Sharlene Parze, the mother of the missing woman, tells the dispatcher her daughter’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Ozbilgen might have been the last person to see her.

Ozbilgen was named a person of interest in the Oct. 30 disappearance of Stephanie prior to his suicide by hanging at his parent’s house on Nov. 22, according to officials.

Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office’s Chris J. Gramiccioni announced at a press conference on Monday that Ozbligen reportedly confessed to the murder of Stephanie Parze in a suicide note he left for his parents back in late November.

The release of the statement by Ozbilgen’s parents comes the night before Stephanie Parze’s memorial service in Freehold.

The cause of death of Stephanie Parze has yet to be released by officials. And the investigation into her death is ongoing.
