Parents Association of Christ Church Nursery School in Short Hills “Adopts” 38 Children for Christmas – TAPinto.net
SHORT HILLS, NJ – ‘Tis the Season for Giving!
The amazing parent group at Christ Church Nursery School showed their true
colors once again. This dedicated group coordinated a very special
collection for The Apostles’ House in Newark.
The PACCNS’ (Parent Association of CCNS) outreach committee adopted
thirty-eight children this Christmas and every single one of them received
towels, thermal underwear, socks and hygiene products. Enough donations were
received that extras were left as well. Unfortunately, new families come
every week to the Apostles’ House so they are in constant need of simple
things like toothbrushes.
The Apostles’ House is an organization devoted to providing comprehensive
social services to homeless women and children and individuals or families
at risk of homelessness in Newark and Essex County. The Apostles’ House has
been faithfully serving the community since 1982. Please visit their website
for additional information http://theapostleshouse.org/
Thinking of others and reaching out to help is a constant focus at Christ
Church Nursery School. The school is extremely grateful for the dedication
of their parent group and the generosity of the CCNS community who actively
role model this for their young students.
This holiday season, CCNS invites all of you to pause and reach out to
someone in need. Even a smile or a hug goes a long way; no gift is too
small!
The nursery school wishes everyone the very best this holiday season and
invites you to visit their website at

the school and its programs.
