Nutley’s Mike Carrino among featured chefs at Community Food Banks’s ‘Chefs Tableside Dinner’

NUTLEY, NJ – Nutley’s Chef Michel Carrino will be among the chefs creating unique menus this November to benefit the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. Born and raised in Nutley, Carrino is executive chef and owner of Pig and Prince in Lackawanna Plaza Montclair.

The sixth annual Chefs Tableside Dinner will bring together 15 chefs, who in turn will create five course menus with wine pairing for tables seating ten guests. Chefs participating in the evening is a who’s who of Garden State chefs including Anthony Bucco of Felina, Robbie Felice of Viaggio Ristorante, and Eric LeVine of Mr. Crabby’s Craft Kitchen and Bar. 

Carrino is known for creating progressive French-centric cuisine while staying true to his Garden State roots. He began his now quarter century journey in the culinary world as a dishwasher, working his way towards Executive Chef and owner.

The Chefs Tableside Dinner takes place Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. at the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown.
