THIRD TEAM

Stephen Bicks, Delbarton, Sr.

Bicks shot an 11-over-par 83 to finish in 13th place at the Non-Public A tournament to help lead Delbarton to a sixth-place showing and finished in a four-way tie for fourth with a 5-over 76 in the North Jersey, Non-Public A tournament.

Cole Ekert, Chatham, So.

Ekert shot an even-par 70 to win individual honors in North Jersey, Section 1-2, Group 3 at Preakness Valley GC, helping lead Chatham to the team title. He shot a 1-over-par 73 to win the Morris County Tournament at Flanders Valley GC. Ekert also contributed off the course as well, teaming up with Gill St. Bernard’s players to run the Juniors Fore Goryeb fundraiser at Mendham’s Roxciticus GC to benefit the Goryeb Children’s Hospital.

Garrett Kessler, West Essex, So.

Kessler tied for first with an eight-over 80, eventually losing in a playoff, in the NJSIAA Group 2 tournament at the Tournament of Champions at Hopewell Valley. He tied for first with a 72 at the K-Golf Classic and finished second in three tournaments: with a 72 at the Blue Devil Invitational, with a 73 at the Essex County Tournament and with a 77 in North Jersey, Section 2, Group 1.

Michael McCrone, Hunterdon Central, Jr.

McCrone grabbed sole possession of second place with a 3-over-par 75 in the NJSIAA Group 4 tournament, good for sixth place overall in Tournament of Champions. He finished in a tie for 10th at the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament at Architects Golf Club in Phillipsburg.

Eegan McDermott, East Brunswick, Sr.

The Stevens Technology commit captured the Central Jersey, Group 4 individual title with at 73 at Charleston Springs and tied for first place in the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament, leading East Brunswick to its second straight title.

Will Tone, Moorestown, Sr.

The Skidmore-bound Tone helped lead Moorestown its its fifth straight league title and third straight Burlington County Tournament title. Fired a 71 to take home medalist honors and helped lead his school to South Jersey, Group 3 title. Shot a 9-over 81 to finish in a tie for sixth in Group 3 at the Tournament of Champions.
