New Year’s Eve in New Jersey: A list of places to ring in 2019 – NJ.com

If you’re like me and you don’t want to go anywhere on New Year’s Eve, there’s plenty of TV offerings that will let you ring in the new year while sitting on the couch in sweatpants. 

The Time Square ball drop will stream live at TimesSquareNYC.org, NewYearsEve.nyc, Livestream.com/2017and TimesSquareBall.net. (You can also watch it on Android and Apple devices with the Times Square Ball App.)

ABC: Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve (Sunday 8-11 p.m., 11:30 p.m.-2 a.m.)

NBC: A Toast to 2018 hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, the two-hour special will ring in the new year with Michael Buble, Ellie Kemper, Kenan Thompson and Busy Philipps. 

FOX: Steve Harvey and Maria Menounos will be live in Time Square Sunday 8-10 p.m., 11 p.m.-12:30 a.m. The program will have musical performances by Sting, Robin Thicke, Florence + the Machine, Jason Aldean, Juanes, and Why Don’t We. 

CNN: Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen for New Years Eve live. Don Lemon and Brooke Baldwin will take over at 12:30 from New Orleans.
