A Special Event to Commemorate the Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Decision

NCJW/Essex will be presenting a special Lunch and Learn to commemorate the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, Roe 2.0: The New Era of Reproductive Rights, on Tuesday, January 28, from noon to 2 p.m.

The event will feature Katie Watson, acclaimed author of Scarlet A: The Ethics, Law and Politics of Ordinary Abortion. Professor Watson will examine cultural changes since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision ensuring a woman’s right to a safe and legal abortion, explore what abortion access will look like in the next decade and beyond, and discuss the possibility of New Jersey becoming a haven state in the future.

Roe 2.0: The New Era of Reproductive Rights will be held in Short Hills. The event location will be provided to attendees prior to the event.
