Nassan’s Place Expands its Service Area to Assist More Children Impacted by Autism – TAPinto.net

EAST ORANGE, NJ – East Orange based Nassan’s Place is partnering with Newark to expand their footprint as the premier autism advocacy agency in the area. Nassan’s Place, lead by their president and founder, Nadine Wright-Arbubakrr, has been operating from East Orange since 2012; but their reach has been far and wide: recently gaining national attention at special events.

In a letter of support, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka remarks, “I am writing to let you know that the City of Newark has forged an exciting new partnership with Nassan’s Place, an amazing non-profit working to help families affected by Autism. We are committed to working side by side to organize and host a “Walk to Nassan’s Place…on Sunday September 22, 2019”.

In speaking with Nadine Wright-Arbubakrr, we were assured that even with the expansion, she would continue to be present and active in East Orange as she always has.

Nassan’s Place has a history of  making an impact in the lives of under-served children and families affected by Autism by providing access to affordable educational and recreational programs, workshops, sensory friendly activities and outings, advocacy and other resources. Through this partnership it is their objective to serve even more low income households in and around the Newark and Essex County.
