Montclair Foundation announces new four board members – Montclair Local
During its annual trustee meeting, The Montclair Foundation announced new four board members.
The members bring extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, have strong ties to Montclair and a commitment to supporting the local community, the foundation said in an announcement.
“Each of the newly elected Board Members are distinguished, prominent leaders in their
respective fields and I look forward to their insights and contributions,” board Chair Emer Featherstone said in the announcement.
The foundation provided the following biographies of the new board members
Andree (Andie) Bertsche is a Montclair native and has been a Realtor with Stanton Company Realtors since 1980 and has served for multiple years on the board of directors of the West Essex Board of Realtors. Her philanthropic nature led her to multiple board positions at Montclair Art Museum, Essex County Mental Health Association, Association for Children of NJ, Junior League of Montclair-Newark and the Van Vleck Management Board.
Eliot R. Mosby is the managing owner of the Montclair Diner, located in Upper Montclair. Prior to acquiring the diner, Mosby work for 15-plus years in Corporate America as an operations and supply chain global Eeecutive for companies like United Airlines, Campbell’s Soup/Pepperidge Farm, Parts Town, Hostess & Grainger where he has led teams as large as 2,500 employees. In addition, Mosby is also a real estate investor in Chicago, IL and is a silent investor in two successful restaurants located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Amy Owens, is a Realtor at Keller Williams NJ Metro Group. Formerly a Garment Center executive, she learned how to be a meticulous facilitator and negotiator, which translated well to her thriving career in real estate. Owens is the recipient of the Circle of Excellence Platinum Level Award, the top honor presented to agents based on their production. In her career, she has closed 400-plus transactions totaling over $200 million in sales.
Ginger Steuart is an accountant and runs Steuart Accounting. Prior to that she was the CFO for an architectural firm and worked in San Francisco and London for PMG and Coopers and Lybrand. Mostly recently Steuart served as chair of the Van Vleck Management Board and is passionate about leveraging The Montclair Foundation’s mission and ties to the community to better help others.
