Monica Lewinsky to be Keynote Speaker “Empowering Women in an Age of Online Incivility”

The National Council of Jewish Women, Essex County Section (NCJW/Essex) announces its 2019 Opening Event on Tuesday evening, October 29, 2019 featuring Monica Lewinsky.

Social activist, global public speaker, and a contributing editor to Vanity Fair, Lewinsky advocates for a safer social media environment and addresses such topics as digital resilience, privacy, cultivating compassion, overcoming shame, and equality.

“We are thrilled Monica Lewinsky is joining us at our opening event,” said Lesley Greenstein, President, NCJW/Essex. “We look forward to hearing her insights about how to create safer social media spaces for women everywhere.”

Registration is required for this free event, which is only for current members of NCJW/Essex. No walk-ins allowed. Coffee and dessert are available from  6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.; the program begins at 7:30 p.m.
