Man killed in Newark shooting: officials – PIX11 New York

NEWARK — One man is dead after a shooting Friday night in Newark.

Paul Boykins, 34, was shot in the vicinity of North Fifth and Dickerson streets around 10 p.m.,  according to Newark and Essex County officials.

Boykins was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

No arrests have been made.
