Louis Venezia to Be Sworn in as Bloomfield Fire Chief at Promotional Ceremony Tuesday

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Current Deputy Fire Chief Louis Venezia will be sworn in to fill the position of Fire Chief at a ceremony Tuesday, July 10 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Bloomfield Council Chambers at 1 Municipal Plaza.

During the ceremony, several other Bloomfield Fire Department personnel will be sworn in to new positions. Thomas Wilson will formally move to the position of Fire Official, and Martin Kaczmarczyk and Robert Griffin will be named Fire Captains, while Robert Barra and Brian McDade will become Deputy Fire Chiefs. This event is open to the public.
