Livingston Student Joseph Kim Places in FBLA Competition
BALTIMORE, MD — Rising Livingston High School junior Joseph Kim recently placed ninth in the Business Plan competition at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference.
Sixteen members of Livingston High School’s FBLA qualified and competed at the conference, which was held in Baltimore, Md. and was attended by more than 14,000 participants. At the event, business students had the opportunity to compete against the best of the best in the entire nation in more than 50 business-related topics.
In the Business Plan competition, Kim not only created the plan, but also had to stand in front of judges, answer questions and defend his position on the idea, marketing plan and financing of his business.
