Montclair, NJ – The Junior League of Montclair-Newark, Inc. (JLMN) is pleased to announce their 2019-2020 new members.
The new members were introduced to the JLMN throughout the summer at informal open houses and cocktail parties. Saturday, October 19th was the JLMN’s traditional “Super Saturday,” a morning of introductions, league history, and information on the community projects offered by JLMN.
The 2019-2020 New Member Class is an impressive group of 17 local women that have shown great enthusiasm in serving our local community as trained volunteers. They are all very eager to learn more about foster care in our area, the focus of JLMN’s work.
“They’re joining the League at such an exciting time.”, said Stephanie Hutton, President of the JLMN. “From our new community projects to the 2020 Walnut Street Fair and our upcoming Centennial Year, we’re glad to have them on board! The JLMN is about empowering women to lead and we’re honored these 17 women have chosen our organization to grow with. We look forward to the work and dedication they will bring to the League.”
The 17 New Members join the JLMN’s roster of 45 Active members and 170 Sustainers.
