Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said that the investigation included the OCPO Narcotics Strike Force and Stafford Township Police Drug Enforcement Unit between February and March of last year.

The initial investigation led law enforcement to execute a court authorized search warrant at a storage unit located in Brick Township that, turned out, was being used by Winston to stash his supply of illegal drugs.

Winston just happened to be there on the day law enforcement searched the unit and he was arrested and detained on site but not before resisting arrest in a way where he was combative, Prosecutor Billhimer said, and “forcefully resisted efforts to detain him, it ultimately took the combined efforts of three detectives to take Winston into custody.”

By the time detectives had finished executing the search warrant, they ended up seizing about 3,000 individual doses of Heroin, 200 grams of Eutylone, along with undisclosed but different amounts of Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Fentanyl, as well as two handguns and an extended capacity magazine.
