It’s Official: New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Will Resign – wpgtalkradio.com

NEW YORK GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO WILL RESIGN 14 DAYS FROM TODAY.

One week after a scathing New York Attorney General (Letitia James) report, confirmed multiple acts of wrongdoing, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will resign, rather than face certain impeachment.

Before today’s stunning announcement – behind the scenes – Cuomo had sought a last-ditch deal that would have permitted him to serve out the remainder of his term, with a promise that he would not seek an unprecedented 4th term.

Cuomo’s fellow Democrats would not accept any deal.

Cuomo was left with two scenarios. Resign on his own terms, or, surely be removed from office.

Cuomo’s resignation does not end his mounting problems.

It’s such a toxic situation that some New York State lawmakers are still considering moving ahead with impeachment, despite the fact that Cuomo has announced his resignation.

Additionally, there is little doubt that multiple victims will continue to pursue all legal remedies available to them.

Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul will become the first female Governor in New York State history.
