‘Home for the Holidays’ With Adamson Ramsey Homes — They ‘Take the Cake’ in Supporting Local Causes – The Village Green
Between now and the end of the year, The Village Green is presenting the series, “Home for the Holidays,” a reminder during this holiday season that when you shop — or buy your services — locally, we all win! Today, we are proud to feature Adamson Ramsey Homes, local real estate partners who are committed to giving back to the community.
Susie and Bonnie are also committed to contributing to the South Orange-Maplewood community — through service, financial support and producing and sponsoring meaningful local events such as the SOMA Camp Fair and Senior Series. This holiday season, Adamson Ramsey Homes is looking forward to matching up to $2,000 in donations for Take The Cake, a local organization that is passionate about celebrating children in our community.
Take the Cake, founded by Laura Himmelein and Janine Territo, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Maplewood-South Orange and serving Essex and Union counties that provides special birthday party for children whose are under economic strain or in crisis.

To have your donation matched by Susie and Bonnie, you can make contribute online or by mail — or stop by the General Store Holiday Pop-Up Shop throughout the giving season to make your gift in person. Plus, Adamson Ramsey Homes is co-sponsoring a special “Shopping Party” at the Pop-Up Shop on “Giving Tuesday”: 10% of all sales will be donated to Take the Cake on Tuesday, November 27. The General Store Holiday Pop-Up Shop will be open noon to 4 p.m. for the Shopping Party.
