NUTLEY, N.J. — A New Jersey tanning salon owner is feeling the heat from authorities after police allege he secretly filmed customers as they undressed and caught rays.

Martino Poli was arrested Wednesday after police searched Sun of a Beach salon in Nutley, N.J., and found multiple cameras, according to a statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, reports SILive’s sister site, NJ.com. Cocaine and marijuana was also found at the location, authorities said.

The prosecutor’s office said the investigation began when a female customer of the salon reported that she noticed what she believed to be a camera lens recording her while she was in a tanning bed, the report read.

Poli, 38, is charged with invasion of privacy, endangering the welfare of a child and drug possession, NJ.com wrote.
