Fourth of July fireworks celebrations in N.J. burst back onto the scene in 2021 – Jersey’s Best
After many celebrations were cancelled last year due to COVID restrictions, this year’s Fourth of July spectaculars are sure to go off with a bang. Cities and towns across New Jersey are gathering to observe and commemorate the history of the United States of America through displays of parades and fireworks to showcase pride and patriotism. Here is a county-by-county listing of select Independence Day fireworks shows to help you discover all the red, white and blue being showcased throughout the Garden State in 2021.
Atlantic County
Margate City – 101 South Huntington Ave.
Sun., July 4 at 9 p.m.
Bring your beach chairs, blankets and kids. Fireworks will light up the sky at approximately 9 p.m. More information can be found here.

Paramus – Gennarelli Sports Plex
Sun., July 4 at dusk
Join the party at the Garden State Plaza (back lot across from Lord & Taylor and next to Gennarelli Sports Plex) from 2 to 8:30 p.m. as it hosts a Just Jersey Food Truck and Music Festival. The fireworks show starts at dusk, but you can enter the sports plex starting at 6 p.m. More information can be found here.

Florence – Florence Municipal Complex
Sat., July 10 at 9:10 p.m.
Watch a flag-raising ceremony at 11 a.m. at Oak Street Circle. From 5 to 9 p.m., enjoy a concert and food court at Water Works Field, next to the municipal complex. Fireworks go off at 9:10 p.m. at Veterans Park behind the complex. More information can be found here.

Camden – Wiggins Park
Sun., July 4 at 9:30 p.m.
Celebrate Independence Day at the Freedom Festival on the Camden Waterfront. Festivities kick off at 5 p.m. with a salute to America and Veterans by Tri-County Symphonic Band. Arnetta Johnson & Sunny go on at 6:30 p.m. Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes play at 8 p.m. Fireworks over the Delaware River begin at 9:30 p.m. More information can be found here.
Collingswood – Collingswood High School

The fun lasts all day long. Visit Roberts Pool at 2 p.m. for water games, raft races, coin toss and watermelon games. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. at the high school field for fireworks. Stone Harbor – Stone Harbor Beachfront

Fireworks will be launched from a barge in the ocean near the Music Pier at 9 p.m. They will be best viewed from the beach and boardwalk between Fifth and 14th streets. More information can be found here.

Readington – Balloon Festival

Gates open to the Balloon Festival at 1 p.m. Enjoy live music, fun and entertainment from 1 to 6 p.m. Amusement rides run from 1 to 10 p.m. Watch 100 hot air balloons get blown up at 6:30 p.m. Then, balloons will be launched at 6:45 p.m. Max Weinberg’s Jukebox plays at 8 p.m. Watch a fireworks extravaganza at 9:30 p.m. More information can be found here.

Enjoy a day of events. Get up and participate in the fishing derby at 6 a.m. at Rescue Squad. Run in the fun run at 7:30 a.m. or a 5K at 8 a.m. The duck race is at 12:30 p.m. at Main Street Bridge. Brick Township – Windward Beach Park
Thurs., July 1 and Thurs., July 8 at 7 p.m.
SuperTransAM plays on July 1 and The Amish Outlaws play on July 8. Concerts start at 7 p.m. and are followed by fireworks. A food court is open during concerts and features a variety of foods. A beer and wine garden is for guests over the age of 21; a valid ID is required to enter the beer and wine garden. Shuttle buses run from Drum Point Elementary School, Midstreams Elementary School, Veterans Memorial Middle School and Brick High School (Chambers Bridge Road). They run from 5 to 8 p.m. continuously. Return trips from Windward Beach begin at 9 p.m. Children 17 years old or under must be accompanied by an adult. More information can be found here.
