Football: Millburn Loses Road Game to Barringer
NEWARK, NJ – Millburn fell behind by four touchdowns by halftime and went on to lose to Barringer, 46-0, Friday night.
The Millers had shut out Kearny, 40-0, in their opening game last week, but the Barringer attack led by Zamar Wise, who rushed for 220 yards and four TDs, was too much to overcome in Week 2.
Millburn quarterback Shane Sullivan completed 10 of 18 passes for 71 yards in his second varsity start. George Hilas caught two passes for 29 yards in the loss.
The Millers will play their home opener next Friday night against Chatham.
