Firefighters Beat Back Blaze at Bayonne Dry Dock – TAPinto.net

BAYONNE, NJ – Members of the Bayonne Fire Department responded to the report of a fire at the Bayonne Dry Dock facility at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Thursday.

Upon arrival, crews found a large storage container fully engulfed in flames and began immediately to knock it back. According to Fire Chief Keith Weaver the fire was brought under control in less than an hour.

“Our firefighters did a good job containing this fire and kept it from spreading” Weaver said before pointing out there were no injuries in the blaze.
