The Essex County (NJ) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated (The Links) is sponsoring a Walk for Healthy Living on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 11am-1pm at Verona Park, Verona, NJ. 

The Walk For Healthy Living is an initiative to encourage The Links members, their families, and our communities to improve their health by walking more. Organizers of the walk are calling upon all sororities, fraternities, churches, non-profits, clubs, families and HBCU alumni to Show Up – Strengthen our Bonds and Engage in Healthy Walking Together – and “Show Out” by wearing each organization’s colors or logo of their favorite HBCU.

The Links are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. The Links are committed to increasing the retention and graduation rates of students attending HBCUs, while emphasizing the relevance of HBCUs’ past, present and future.
