District Court Judge Denies Motion to Dismiss by School District of the Chathams in Complaint Made by Chatham Mom

CHATHAM, NJ – A motion to dismiss the federal lawsuit against the School District of the Chathams was denied by U.S. District Court Judge Kevin McNulty, according to an announcement made by the Thomas More Law Center, which is representing the plaintiff, Libby Hilsenrath of Chatham.

In January, Chatham Middle School mother, Libby Hilsenrath, along with her minor child, filed suit in federal court, naming The School District of the Chathams, the Board of Education, the Chatham Middle School principal and teachers as defendants, claiming a violation of constitutional rights.
