Dennis Twp., NJ, Fire Co.: One Person Partially Ejected in Route 47 Crash – wpgtalkradio.com
A nasty accident Monday night on Route 47 in Cape May County sent at least one person to an area hospital.
According to the Dennis Volunteer Fire Company, their members were dispatched to the 800 block of Route 47 in South Dennis around 7:40 PM for the report of a crash with possible entrapment.
At the scene, a report says they, “arrived on location … and found a 2-car crash, with 1 occupant partially ejected.”
Firefighters from several departments assisted in freeing the person, who was then taken to a waiting medical helicopter.
Route 47 was closed for approximately two hours while the accident was investigated and cleared.
