Celebrity Chef Ariane Duarte to Host Fundraiser for Homeless Pets and Pets of Domestic Violence Victims!
VERONA, NJ – Chef Ariane Duarte will be hosting the 2nd annual fundraiser for homeless pets and pets of domestic violence victims on Thursday, October 18.
The non-profit organization, Only Kindness Rescue, has collaborated with Chef Ariane to host the fundraiser for a cause. The goal is to raise funds to help domestic violence shelters add a safe space for pets so families may escape abuse with their pets and don’t have to give up their loved ones or leave them behind in danger and to raise funds for pets who become homeless.
Chef Ariane was featured on Season 5 of “Top Chef”, and she beat Bobby Flay on The Food Network show, “Beat Bobby Flay”. Chef Ariane and Michael Duarte have created a special menu just for this event.

Local artist, Jenny Marie will provide live music for this special event and Maria Milito, DJ, Q104.3 NY will serve as the special guest of honor.
During a live auction, guests will select from the following: Tiffany jewelry, Gourmet Food Baskets from Nanina’s in the Park, memberships to Evolve Cycle & Fitness, and NJ Devil game tickets, including a Meet & Greet with Ken Daneyko, three time Stanley Cup Champion & Hall of Famer.
Organizers state that up to 65% of women will not flee abuse, or delay leaving because they have no way of protecting their pet family members. Only 3% of domestic violence shelters nationwide can accommodate pets, they add.
As per the most recent annual NJ State Police Annual DV Report, in 2016, there were 63,420 domestic violence offenses reported in New Jersey. (6,437 in Essex County).
