Boys Lacrosse: Caldwell Edges Morristown-Beard, 11-10 – TAPinto.net

MORRISTOWN, NJ — The Caldwell boys lacrosse team held off a late charge by Morristown-Beard to hold on for an 11-10 victory on Thursday.
Matt Fermo won 19 of 23 faceoffs for Caldwell (7-2), which led, 9-5, after three quarters. Matt DiBlasio led the Chiefs with four goals and one assist.
Charlie Pierce scored three goals, Fermo finished with two goals and one assist, Dan Amores had one goal and one assist, and Mohamed Abdelwahab scored a goal for Caldwell. Connor Hapward made eight saves and Christian Wagner made three saves.
