Arc Of Essex County Seeks Support For Virtual Run/Walk – My veronanj
The Arc of Essex County, based in Livingston and operating two group homes in Verona, is seeking participants and community support for its Building Tomorrows Virtual 5K, 10k, Half Marathon and 1-Mile walk taking place on Saturday, April 25.
Despite the ongoing pandemic, The Arc of Essex County continues to provide vital services and supports to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The annual Building Tomorrows event provides funds that enable The Arc to remain agile, responsive, and innovative, especially during difficult times like these. Now, more than ever, they need the community’s support.
All 5K, 10K, and half marathon finishers, as well as walkers who raise $30 or more, will receive special 2020 swag including a custom finisher medal and completion certificate. Registration for the 5K, 10K. and half marathon is $30; registration for the 1-Mile Walk is $10. Participants are encouraged to fundraise and all proceeds will benefit individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) served by The Arc of Essex County.
