The Senate and Assembly Budget Committees approved a $32.7 billion spending plan on Tuesday—setting the stage for the full Senate and Assembly to vote it through later this week to meet the Sept. 30 deadline to come up with a balanced state budget for the fiscal year shortened by the pandemic.
