Cars Stolen In Bloomfield; Found In West Orange, Newark – Bloomfield, NJ Patch

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of vehicles were stolen in Bloomfield last week. They were later recovered in West Orange and Newark, police said.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township.

Aug. 28 – “Officers responded to Grove Street on report of a stolen motor vehicle. The resident parked her vehicle at 4:30 a.m. in her driveway. When she returned to the vehicle at 6:40 a.m. the vehicle was gone. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen. The vehicle was recovered in Newark on the same day. This incident is under investigation.”

Aug. 30 – “Officers responded to Weaver Avenue on report of a motor vehicle theft. The resident parked his 2006 green Toyota Sienna at 11 p.m. on Aug. 29. When the owner returned to the vehicle at 9:50 a.m. on Aug. 30, the vehicle was gone. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen. The vehicle was later recovered in West Orange. This incident is under investigation.”
