Men Rob Bloomfield 7-Eleven Worker; 1 Arrested, 1 At Large: PD – Bloomfield, NJ Patch
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of men allegedly robbed a gas station attendant at a 7-Eleven in Bloomfield last week, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, Brandon K. Boyd, 29, of Belleville, was arrested and charged with robbery and conspiracy. A second suspect remains at large, authorities said Wednesday.
The “strong-arm” robbery took place on Aug. 12 at the 7-Eleven on Bloomfield Avenue, police said.
The victim told officers that two men walked up to his booth and forced their way inside. The men stole $100 in cash and the employee’s iPhone, which was valued at $600. They then fled on foot towards Ampere Parkway, police stated.
Bloomfield police later arrested Boyd and charged him in connection with the robbery. He was transported to the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark, police said.
