Police: 8-year-old girl bitten by fox; neighbor chases it away – News 12 New Jersey

An 8-year-old girl in Essex County is recovering after she was attacked by a fox.

Livingston police say that the girl was playing near a shed at a home on Springbrook Road when the fox bit her shins and foot.

A neighbor was able to chase the fox away.

Animal control officers are now searching for the fox.
