VERONA, NJ — Mother Nature can be cruel.  As a result of the snow she dumped on Verona earlier in the month, students at Verona public schools will have a shorter spring break.

Accordin to Verona administration, the district has exceeded its allotted snow days.  As a result, the district has changed the school calendar making Friday, April 6, which was originally part of spring break, a full day of school.
