Local events and updates:

  • Downtown Westfield will host events on Quimby Street and around the area for July 4 weekend. • Recently, the Millburn-Short Hills Fourth of July Committee said on their webpage, “The Millburn-Short Hills Fourth of July Committee is sad to announce that, due to the coronavirus pandemic, there will be no fireworks this year.”

Due to the pandemic and resulting policy changes (such as the firework policy) announced by Gov. Phil Murphy, counties or cities may adjust or cancel events at the last minute.
